As the economy becomes increasingly unreliable, many people have been cutting back on the money they set aside for hobbies and recreational activities. However, they are still getting their fill of social interaction, especially thorough online bingo which is quickly becoming a popular alternative to spending nights on the town.
A recent online survey has revealed that the surge in online bingo’s popularity comes from an increasing number of people who have recognized its social value. Of nearly 2000 people surveyed, 50% of respondents noted that made new friends, formed romantic relationships and became reacquainted with lost loved-ones.
The results reveal that online bingo can replicate the experiences that are commonly thought to be possible only through face-to-face exchanges.
